As I sit at my computer, I have about 30 min before I need to get ready for my day job. I handed in my 2 weeks notice yesterday, and even though this is arguably the best job I've ever had, I'm relieved. It's become such a source of stress over the last months, and more and more I find that I have less time to myself because I am so tired when I get home.

Of course, being me, I never make such big decisions without some kind of cobbled-together plan. While I continue the hunt for that magical, mythical remote-job-that-doesn't-require-experience-or-degree, I'm going to focus on video content (though less on livestreaming), and selling haandmade crafts locally.

Side note, morre and more of my keyboard keys are stuttering/doubling, so sorry for any typos. Unfortunately my mind can't currently justify replacing my old ass keyboard atm.

It's hard focusing on one or two ideas for income when you practically collect hobbies. Being a serial-crafter means I have tons and tons of what others would call junk or clutter, because every craft requires its own materials, and I jump around them often enough that packing some away causes a major inconvenience. I'd like to try and use that to my advantage though.

I grew up on those kids' crafting TV shows, like 'Out of the Box' and those craft/science shows on PBS Kids. Every daay was a new arts & crafts topic. I've followed the YouTuber Jazza for a long time, who is the same and formaatted his channel around trying out all sorts of art processes. I'd love to do something similar, despite my apparent allergy to video editing. I don't think I need to explain why building any kind of audience on social media right now sucks ass, but still, I'd like to give it a try. Who know, maybe it will stick.

And maybe someday here soon I'll figure out how to add a feature to the sit's Art Gallery that lets you click on the picture to enlarge it :'D
